A group of around fifty young athletes from Barça Academy PRO New York were the stars for a few minutes of FC Barcelona’s first training session at the NY Red Bulls Training Facility, New Jersey. New York is the last of the four legs of Barça’s US Tour, and this has presented the youngsters with a wonderful opportunity to meet their heroes. 

The New Yorkers were as thrilled by the experience as their peers from Barça Academy PRO Miami, who were able to do likewise just a few days earlier. Before everyone gathered for a photo, Xavi Hernández made a point of high-fiving each of the visitors, and told them how much he hoped they would enjoy getting see the professionals train. Barça will be playing New York Red Bulls of the MLS on Saturday.
