On Friday night, Barcelona completed the registration of four of their five new summer signings made this summer.

Franck Kessie, Andreas Christensen, Raphinha and Robert Lewandowski were all successfully added to the Barcelona squad officially as the registration with La Liga was completed following the activation of the fourth economic lever.

With the new signings registered with the league, their kit numbers for the upcoming season were also officially confirmed on the La Liga website.

Robert Lewandowski has been given the #9 jersey, something which was well-publicised long ago. In fact, the 33-year-old is believed to have had a clause in his contract that he be given the No. 9 kit when he signed for the Blaugrana.

So, he is now officially Barça’s new No. 9, with Memphis Depay, who is being linked with a summer exit, taking No. 14.

Meanwhile, defender Andreas Christensen has been handed the #15 kit, which had become available following the loan exit of Clement Lenglet, who joined Tottenham Hotspur earlier this summer.

Franck Kessie takes the No. 19 kit for Barcelona. Interestingly, the shirt was worn by two players last season, with Sergio Aguero donning the No. 19 upon his arrival last summer before Ferran Torres took it up in January, following the Argentine’s retirement.

With Torres getting handed the #11 kit, Kessie has now taken the #19 shirt. As for Raphinha, the Brazilian has been handed #22, which became available following Oscar Mingueza’s exit earlier this summer.

Ousmane Dembele and Sergi Roberto, who were also registered following their contract renewals, have retained their old #7 and #20 kits, respectively.
