Barcelona’s merchandising company, BLM, has assured that the new stock of the team’s home kit will be available this weekend, and by the end of this month, availability will eventually grow.

FC Barcelona’s official stores recently experienced an unusual situation as the fans could not purchase the new home shirt due to lack of stocks. It’s been several days since and by the time of writing, the situation continues to persist.

BLM, however, has calculated that everything wil be back to normal by the weekend and the operations will eventually carry on as usual.

As reported by Spanish publication Mundo Deportivo, the only way to buy the new shirt was to purchase it online. Interestingly enough, even there are only small sizes available, which cost in access of €69.99 among the other two team kits.

The aforementioned outlet predicts that the situation occurred because of Barcelona’s heavy investment in the transfer market. Boosted by the likes of Robert Lewandowski and Raphinha among others, the stocks were sold out in the Spotify Camp Nou store a few days back.

Furthermore, even the player versions, which cost €139.99, were also unavailable for fans to purchase.

Moreover, Barcelona had anyway predicted that the shirt sale would boom, but it, in fact, exceeded everyone’s expectations, even Nike’s.

Barcelona were made aware of the situation and the initial forecast was to make everything available until October. However, BLM acted quickly enough to make at least some stock available by the weekend. The rest will follow by the end of the current month.

Meanwhile, there is absolutely no such problem with the second kit and the third light grey shirt which has the Sant Jordi cross. Those shirts are available across all sizes and even the player versions can be bought from the store.
