We take a look at the latest newly unveiled kits from English clubs for the 2022/23 season, and the majority of them have gone down well.

The 2021/22 campaign is over and done with, so now their attention can only turn to the next one, and with clubs still needing cash to boost their finances to make up for the last few seasons, now is the perfect time to release them to supporters, plus with the start date earlier than usual in mind.

Over the last few weeks, we’ve come across a variety of kits, some looking rather nice, though others haven’t proved popular, and then you have you just plain average bunch. Take a look at the latest collection to be launched below…

Swansea City and Joma are delighted to unveil the club’s home kit for the 2022-23 season, with supporters now able to pre-order and be among the first to get their hands on the new design.

The new design prominently features the club’s classic and instantly recognisable white colours, but also includes a nod to the fan favourite kit from the 1992-93 campaign.

The red and black colours featured 30 years ago are included on the collar of the new kit, while the ‘ripped’ design motif is woven into the fabric of the shirt.

The kit features white shorts and white socks, with the latter sporting black and red trim.

Swansea City and Joma are excited to reveal the club’s vibrant and retro-inspired away kit for the 2022-23 Championship season.

The eye-catching orange, royal blue and white design harks back to the Swans’ away kit between 1993 and 1995, with that period including the club’s first trip to Wembley as Frank Burrows led his side to Football League Trophy success.

The kit has remained a cult favourite among the Jack Army over the intervening years, and has been updated and modernised for the new season.

The body of the shirt is ‘golden poppy’ orange with royal blue trim, with the sleeves seeing those colours incorporated with white for a patterned finish.

The design is completed by royal blue shorts, while the golden poppy socks feature royal blue and white trim.

The blue home jersey features a distorted linear graphic, inspired by the architectural lines and structure of the Cobbold Stand at Portman Road. Knitted white pique shorts and blue socks with white part hoop complete the kit that the Blues will don for the new campaign.

The away jersey pays homage to two iconic Town strips – the 1992/93 third kit and the 1993/94 away kit. Both were supplied by Umbro and worn by Town in the Premier League. The red and black shirt features a graphic front, back body stripe and raglan sleeves.

Both kits are available for pre-order here.

In homage to our return to Errea as Technical Kit Partner, Italian icon Fabrizio Ravanelli has taken up modelling duties – with countryman Massimo Maccarone to do the same for the away shirt which will be unveiled in the coming weeks.

The red home shirts feature a buttoned round collar and Boro’s signature white band, which adorns the logo of Principal Partner Unibet.

Junior shirts, meanwhile, will bear the branding of Club Partner Host & Stay, which will also appear on the reverse of match-worn and replica shirts.

“A little bit of Hanwell A little bit of Newcastle A whole lot of history… Founded by Geordies. Made for Geordies.

“Overwhelmed with the support we’ve received from our new home kit.

“We’ve worked super hard over the last 2/3 months to create something unique, showcasing our history and we are so pleased that it’s been this well received.” “Thank you all for your kind words “

Our new 2022-23 Home Shirt pays tribute to the first-ever Town team to have played in the Premier League, with the swirl pattern featured in the main body of the shirt part of the beloved kit that was worn during that memorable 1993-94 season in the top flight.

This year’s shirt also features a bold red and black trim on the collar and on the sleeves, with the design again embracing the past while also looking ahead to the future.

The 1993-94 design is cherished by Town fans due to that era being one of the most successful in Club history, and we hope our 2022-23 Home Kit goes on to be regarded as successful both on and off the pitch.

Our 2022-23 Away Shirt takes on a similar message.

This kit pays tribute to the legendary Town team that earned promotion to the Premier League at the end of a historic 1989-1990 season.

Our heroes, including the late great Alan McLoughlin and Club legends like Steve White, Paul Bodin and Colin Calderwood, wrote themselves into the Swindon Town history books wearing a clean and sharp white shirt.

This year’s Away kit pays homage to that squad and the heroes of yesterday with a striking white shirt, complete with black trimming. It is a bold look and one that will be worn with pride by our heroes of today.

Brilliantly re-invented by Puma Teamwear for the modern day Millers, this eccentric effort is a throwback to the kit worn by the team of the era on the road in the mid-90s – and we feel at least – that it is a real classic.

Eagle-eyed Millers supporters will notice that the club crest features in black, rather than its usual red and white, to ensure that it intertwines with the almost tiger-esque black pattern which stretches across the body of the jersey.

Much like on our Primary Strip with the use of IPM Group’s logo incorporated as it is, this season we welcome Asura Financial Technologies to become our main shirt sponsors for our Change and Alternate kits, with their branding also thoughtfully incorporated into both kits – the latter of which is yet to be unveiled.

The shirt will be complemented by accompanying yellow shorts and socks with the Puma Cat featuring throughout and sporting a black trim.

The new shirt features a modern take – 30 years on – from United’s iconic 1991/93 strip and is available to pre-order now.

Working closely with technical partners hummel, the fully sublimated front panel incorporates a diagonal geometric design in a deeper shade of amber to add a modern element to the retro-inspired jersey.

The shirt is constructed using a new hummel silhouette for 2022/23, with chevron shaped underarm ventilation panels in black.

Hummel’s iconic chevrons adorn the top of the sleeves, with a plain amber back panel and a round-neck rib design with a contrast tipping edge.

The new away shirt mirrors the home design with a fresh twist on United’s iconic 1991/93 strip and is available to pre-order now.

Working closely with technical partners hummel, the fully sublimated Alaskan blue front panel incorporates a diagonal geometric design, adding a modern slant to the retro inspiration.

The shirt – as with the home – is constructed using a new hummel silhouette for 22/23, with chevron shaped underarm ventilation panels.

The brand new old gold strip, bespoke designed by Castore, is the first symbolising the landmark partnership with AstroPay, who feature on the front of shirts, and supporters can make their pre-orders now at shop.wolves.co.uk.

In addition, Wolves can also announce 12Bet as the club’s new sleeve partner for the 2022/23 season. 12Bet are one of the most recognisable and trusted sports betting brands, with a particular reputation as in-play football betting specialists, and now join in partnership with the club.

This fresh strip, featuring old gold shirts and socks and black shorts, has again been carefully matched to the club’s distinct Pantone colour, and is available in all sizes – adults, women, junior, infant and baby.

Like last season, adult shirts are available as both pros, the authentic jerseys worn by the players, priced at £105, and replicas for £55, providing a more affordable option for supporters.

Blyth Spartans Supporters Club are pleased to reveal the new Team Kit for the 2022/23 season.

Manufactured by Italian sportswear company Errea, it’s a bespoke shirt, designed in- house and not an off the peg item. The shirts are fully subliminated with club badge, sponsors logos of TEXO, SOS and JFS Torbitt, National League decals and for the first time will proudly display the Northumbrian flag as we travel the country during the season.

The home kit is the traditional green and white stripes. The first team will combine this with black shorts and green socks.

The change kit is a new combination of lilac and navy, with navy shorts and socks.

The new Claret & Blue is a kit made for the massive moments as the Hammers prepare for another journey into European competition.

Taking inspiration from the iconic design worn by Billy Bonds’ promotion-winning team of 30 years ago, the new Home Kit takes the look into the modern age.

Featuring the Club’s traditional colours, the new Home Shirt’s Claret body is complemented by a scratched graffiti Blue and White sleeve detail.

Burton fans will soon be able to wear a striking new black shirt after the club revealed the official away kit for the 2022/23 season.

The design by local company and long-term kit suppliers TAG Sportswear offers a whole new look for Brewers fans and the first team. Not only is the eye-catching design unique in Burton Albion history it is also the most eco-friendly shirt the club has ever produced.

The black shirt is designed as an essential part of your Brewers wardrobe, equally at home as a fashion item that looks good worn with jeans, as it is practical for the first team to play football in during the new season.

Newcastle United has unveiled the club’s new 2022/23 home shirt by premium sportswear brand Castore.

Ready for a new challenge in the Premier League, players and supporters will unite once again in iconic black and white stripes while honouring the club’s 130-year history.

Castore’s latest design combines traditional elements of the club’s memorable home kits together with modern touches, creating a classic black and white jersey that is inspired by the past and built for the future.

City has turned back the clock for the 2022/23 home shirt with a 1950s-style kit for its men’s and women’s teams.

The new strip can be purchased online now, with supporters able to buy the kit at the Bristol Sport Store from 9am tomorrow (Wednesday, June 8th). The Store is open from 9am-5pm, Monday-Saturday.

In a tribute to the strip worn in the 1954/55 season, in which City won promotion from Division Three South, the Robins will wear a collared red shirt with white sleeves for the new season.

The new Home Kit will be worn for the first time by the Men’s First Team when they take on Team K-League in Seoul on July 13 – the opening match of their pre-season tour of South Korea.

The 2022-23 Tottenham home shirt is predominantly white whilst the crew neck collar and cuffs are navy with neon volt trim.

A navy Nike logo is placed on the right breast with the Spurs crest on the left breast.

In the centre of the front is the AIA shirt sponsor coloured red while inside the neckline is navy ‘Spurs’ text and navy shorts with white socks complete the Tottenham kit 2022-23 made by Nike.

The Mills Tranmere 2022-2023 kit is mainly white and combines this clean base with a unique graphic design. This graphic design consists of several stripes in blue and green which are getting thinner towards the middle of the shirt.

A blue / green crew-neck collar and a blue supplier logo add to the overall appearance of the Mills Tranmere Rovers 2022-2023 home strip, while the club crest sits on the left chest in its regular form.
