Robert Lewandowski was pictured outside the Barmherzigen Bruder hospital in Munich today for the start of FC Bayern’s pre-season preparations. He believed to have taken part in training too, despite publicly announcing his desire to leave Bavaria earlier in the summer.

However, in the aftermath of his return to training, rumours are still swirling around over his prospects of joining FC Barcelona, with Bayern reportedly waiting for a fresh offer from the Catalans.

In what could be a potential boost for Barcelona, it appears the Bayern merchandising unit has left a bit of a hint on Lewandowski’s future by not featuring a single kit of the Polish international, in the club’s official store in Munich.

Whether or not this could be an indicator of Lewandowski’s future in Munich remains to be seen, but there have been many instances where merchandising has played a key role in fueling speculation in this Lewandowski saga.

Earlier in the summer, the Pole’s agent Pini Zahavi was pictured buying ten Barcelona kits with Lewandowski on the back.

In the meantime, though, the former Borussia Dortmund starlet is set to continue his training with Bayern. Although he is waiting out for an offer from FC Barcelona, the forward will remain professional until the very end, although it appears the Bavarians themselves have pretty much ruled the Pole out of their plans for next season.
