The Englishman succeeds Thomas Tuchel, who departed the Blues on Wednesday morning, and signed a five-year deal at Stamford Bridge at the end of last week after joining from Brighton.

The Birmingham-native, who cut his teeth in management at Swedish side Ostersund and in the Championship with Swansea, checked in at Cobham last Thursday to sign his deal and pose for his official unveiling photographs.
